About COLIN
Colin Kohlhaas is a PhD historian, freelancer, and author who explores the intersections of class, masculinity, race, and violence in early-20th-century urban America. He earned his PhD from Binghamton University in 2024 and has published in platforms like Clio and the Contemporary and The Conversation. Colin also writes for local news organizations in central Pennsylvania, examining the relationship between history and politics. He is currently working on a freelance basis for the Bucks County Beacon as a reporter and contributor.
